How to Join
To find out more about joining the Club please call
Pauline Feeney (see Contact) or drop in on a Saturday
afternoon (1:00 - 4:00pm) or a Thursday evening (7:30 - 9:30pm) and
speak to one of our coaches or poolside helpers.
Club
Insurance
On joining the Club there is a one-off joining fee of £33 per swimmer.
This payment goes towards the swimmers initial SASA (Scottish
Amateur Swimming Association) membership which
includes insurance cover. Without this insurance in place we cannot have
swimmers in the pool or at competitions in case of accident or injury.
Thereafter the annual SASA subscription is included in the monthly
payment to the Club.
Club Fees
At the 2009 AGM, it was reluctantly agreed to
increase monthly fees from July 2009 to
cover the increased cost of pool hire being charged by Renfrewshire Leisure Ltd. Where
possible can you please arranged for monthly fees to be paid by Standing Order.
Please remember that the Standing Order should be sent to your bank and
not the club.
Meet entry fees
The club will initially cover the cost of meet entry fees for all
swimmers (typically £4.50-£5.00 per swim) when entries are submitted to
the club hosting the swim meet. Swimmers will be required to make
payment to the Club Treasurer once they have competed in the events
they were accepted for. Please note that if any swimmer wishes to
withdraw from the meet after the closing date set by the organisers then
they will still have to pay for the event
they were entered into.
Child Protection Policy
The club has a designated Child Protection Officer
(Chris Quinn)who ensures that all adults working with swimmers are checked
by Disclosure Scotland in accordance with SASA requirements and the
Child Protection Act. For full details of
