Welcome to the website of Renfrew Baths Amateur Swimming Club. Renfrew Baths ASC has been established for over 35 years and provides a competitive and fun environment for swimmers with a range of abilities from Renfrew and Paisley, including the surrounding towns of Erskine, Bishopton, Bridge of Weir, Houston and beyond to train and compete. We welcome all children who meet our qualifying standards.   

Renfrew Baths ASC is affiliated to the West District of the Scottish Amateur Swimming Association (also known as SASA or Scottish Swimming).

Swimming is one of the most popular sports in the UK. As well as being fun it is a great way to improve your health and fitness and by joining a Club it is also a great way to make new friends.

The Club is run entirely by volunteers and their aim is to help swimmers to reach their full potential – either in competitive swimming or swimming to keep fit.  The Coaches will help with stroke development, fitness and techniques in a friendly and sociable environment.

For many swimmers the development of potential will often be judged in terms of time improvement at swim meets. However the Club recognizes and aims to influence other developmental considerations, including dealing with success and failure, setting and achieving goals and how to explore and test limits.
